Frequently asked questions.

What does Asteria Mou means? Why Asteria Mou?

Asteria Mou is derived from Greek language, αστέρια μου.
Astéria (αστέρια) means stars, where Mou(μου) is My, which is My Stars.

Few years ago, I couldn’t cope with the grief for my beloved and supportive grandparents during my visit to Greece. My boyfriend brought me to a beach at night. We were listening to the tranquillising sea waves and when I looked above, I saw an abundance of stars in the sky like a glittering veil. My boyfriend pointed at the sky and told me, whenever I missed my grandparents, I could look up to find the brightest stars among the shining stars. They would be up above shining for me.

My stars are my grandparents who encouraged me to follow my dreams since I was a kid;
my stars are my family and friends supported me for my art journey;
my stars are those who like my art and encourage me to continue chasing my dreams.

P.S. The character Wai 慧 from my Chinese name consists of 2 parts: a comet with a heart
